Exactly bro! Same old false promises in a new look. Feels the same. They should sell it on XBOX as an “introduction” to the sim. At a fraction of the cost and no marketplace. They scammed the console owners for years.

The marketplace greatly assists with funding, more money to the devs means more development, think of it that way.

I disagree. I think they do a lot for the Xbox community. Even the fact that you can get all these addons in the first place on Xbox is very cool. The reason for no freeware sofar is probably simply a technical or security thing. I assume they just don't have the capacity to test so many free addons for the plattform. Maybe they will do it once 2024 is released. But even 2024 will be A LOT better than 2020 on Xbox. You get a lot of things like ship traffic and VFR things like antennas, powerplants, etc. included now. For 2020, even on PC, you needed lots of addons for this.

👏👏 Happy for you bro! Not only is your flight simming going to the next level, you can use that PC for numerous things. Video editing being one. It's always good to have a fast capable PC in your home, i always had one. You might even want to try VR flying, i hear it's great and im planning to give it a go soon. As far as 9-11, man ill never forget that, i was 31 at the time. Saw an image of the wtc burning on AOL that morning on my pc titled..."America Under Attack". I immediately thought it was a movie until reading closer and saw it was real. Those people went to work in an 80 story building, never thought they'll either have to jump, burn to death, or come down with it as it collapses. It's crazy the things that can happen to anyone on any given day.

I understand there is a cost in hosting Xbox software etc... but I think Microsoft should reduce the minimum charge form $5 US to $1 US for software on the Maketplace.

At worst they could let developers add freeware with say a 99cent price to cover processing onto the store, maybe 25cents to the developer too The current minimum is $5 I believe.

Thanks bro. Just dropped $2700 on a pc finally. Been “saving up” but pulled the trigger because of your inspiration. Last week I had to get all new rotors for my CTS which cost more than this pc. I’m not passionate about about rotors bro. Worth every penny to enjoy my hometown Chicago again.

It will be a week for me since I got my gaming PC. I did not sleep the first couple of nights but it was worth it. So much endless of mods to get for free. I wish I should have done it much sooner because I missed so many freeware opportunities while being on the Xbox😢😭😭😭. The best freeware plane is the C-17 and probably a lot better than most of the pay-ware airliners. No joke about that.

FS2024 should perform a lot better on the Xbox than FS2020 did. It has an entirely new engine that supports multithreading. It will allow the Xbox to use all of its cores. FS2020 used 40 year old core in its engine that limits it to one core.

They did job you with the 4080 instead of going with the 4090 lol.

Mmmmh..... the radio not working .. I hear both the tower and the ground but it doesn’t make me speak, whether I press the keys or if I press the dialogue box. I think it still has a lot of bugs...

Copters are so fun! I have been enjoying to old sims, on my old PC. FS2002 and the one I beta tested, Century of flight. Three aircraft I made in FSDS2, the Allegro 2000 I started my lessons in '06, my Ultralight Trike, and my Eclipse, all with the help of Dave Eckert and also a few beta testers. Funny to still have these sims after so many years. Also for Century of Flight I created an add-on, Soft Horizons, which made its horizons more realistic. That was my most popular creation, with several thousand downloads. I released all of these titles as freeware, also some Colorado photo scenery. I found freeware creation enjoyable and I love your tributes to MSFS 2020 freeware, the one thing absent on the Xbox though I am satisfied with what I have as payware as you were as well.

Looks great but I sure wish he put the guns and rocket pods on it for the non-marketplace purchases. That’s why I’ll probably wait for the Blackbird Simulations version coming out.
